To export your video, select "Project > Export Video" from the menu bar.
To save the current displayed frame as an image file, choose "Project > Export Image" from the menu bar.
When exporting your video, the content of the timeline is recorded in real-time into a video file that you can then save to a location of your choice.
The exported video has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a frame rate of 30 frames per second.
For optimal quality, videos are recorded using the Apple ProRes 422 codec.
Due to the high quality, these files can be large. Ensure that you have sufficient storage space on your computer (typically > 1 GB per minute).
If you plan to share the videos, you may need to compress them. You can use the export functions of Quicktime Player or third-party software such as the free tool "Handbrake" (Mac) or equivalent programs for Windows.
